Drakkar’s Drift

A bespoke sauna designed for award-winning young garden designer Luke Coleman. 

Luke’s RHS entry to the ‘Young Designer of the Year 2025’ competition (held at Wentworth Woodhouse, South Yorkshire), included a bespoke version of our Onnen signature sauna. Working closely with Luke to design a sauna that would compliment his wider design and planting scheme, we crafted this bespoke wood-fired edition of the Onnen, clad in hand-laid shingles and finished with Osmo oil, creating a naturally weathered finish. A green roof, planted with a semi-intensive dry meadow ensured the sauna blended seamlessly with Luke’s wider design and planting scheme.
